Over the years, roof tiles weaken/crack/break and concrete under roof cappings on hips/ridges falls away leaving big holes to allow water to enter roof space, damaging ceilings.
Whilst roof restorations are cheaper than iron roof conversions, they cannot give you a complete guarantee of a watertight roof.
A tile to iron conversion will not only modernise your home but will give you all the advantages that come with an iron roof.
A conversion consists of removing roof tiles from roof, fitting roof purlins to structure to accommodate roof sheeting ( I use Topspan 40 ZincalumeĀ® purlinsā they remain straight and are Australian standard) and install new roof sheeting to structure.
Please view my Products I Use page to choose the roofing of your choice.
Below are just two of the many tile to iron roof conversions I have installed.
